Goodrich Aeronautics built a cooling tower as part of an expansion of their facilities in notoriously unstable collapsible clays in the industrial district near the Pueblo Airport. Straight Line installed 102 piers made of 2-1/4in solid square stock with a 10in helix to an average depth of 70ft.
Running two crews, installation was completed in five working days.
